Advance Replacement - Terms & Conditions

Nintendo's Advance Replacement program may be available for systems that are currently within their one (1) year warranty period. You must return your non-working system within twenty one (21) days from the date your Advance Replacement order was placed to receive a refund for the cost of the system and tax. The $10 Premium Service Fee will not be refunded.

If your Nintendo product has been physically damaged (e.g. liquid damage, cracked screen, broken hinge, etc.), it is no longer covered by our warranty. If your non-working system is received in such condition, you will only receive a partial refund. The refund you receive in this case is equal to the total cost of the Advance Replacement order less the cost, including tax, of a standard non-warranty repair for the same type of system.

Any Nintendo product that has been tampered with, modified, otherwise altered, or is counterfeit will be considered permanently damaged as it cannot be brought back to its original working condition. As such, your system will be returned to you and you will not receive a refund for the original charge unless you return your replacement system in its original working condition within 30 days from when we ship your counterfeit or altered system back to you.

Attention Wii and Nintendo DSi owners:
When you send your Wii console, Nintendo DSi, or Nintendo DSi XL system in as part of an Advance Replacement order, all digital content, save data, and settings will be lost.

Attention Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL owners:
When you send your Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system in as part of an Advance Replacement order, you can use the System Transfer tool while you have both systems in your possession to transfer the content. If you are unable to use this tool, all digital content, save data, and settings will be lost.

Nintendo reserves the right to refuse Advance Replacements that, in Nintendo's sole opinion, appear to be fraudulent.
