How long is my warranty?
For hardware the warranty lasts one year from the date of purchase. For accessories and Nintendo-published software, the warranty will last one or three months from the purchase date depending on the country where the product was purchased. Proof of purchase is required to receive warranty service. To learn more, click here.
What is covered under my warranty?
The warranty protects against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship in hardware, software (Nintendo-published only), and accessories. The warranty is not valid without proof of purchase. Physical damage is not covered under the warranty, but your product may still be repaired an Authorized Service Center. To learn more, click here.
How to prove that your Nintendo product is under warranty:
A copy of the sales ticket or invoice is required as proof of purchase. This proof of purchase must be provided to the Nintendo Authorized Service Center and they will determine if the service is covered under warranty. In Brazil, look for product with the Anatel seal and Inmetro plugs.
