- Alm and Celica figures unlock a special dungeon where players can battle bosses and collect items.
- Fire Emblem amiibo characters from the Super Smash Bros. series can be used to summon an illusory hero of that character during battle.
- And other compatible amiibo can be used to summon an additional monster ally to fight alongside you for one turn.

Tap a Kirby™ series amiibo™ figure to receive a costume based on the tapped character.

By tapping one of these new amiibo character cards while playing Mario Sports Superstars, players will get a variety of fun bonuses.

- Tap any compatible amiibo™ figure in Story Mode and Kirby™ will inhale the in-game figure to gain a Copy Ability

- Scanning a Fox amiibo swaps Fox and his teammates over to Retro Arwings, fun throwback models based on the original Arwing featured on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System™.

Star Fox Zero
Need a little extra firepower? Tap the amiibo symbol in the top-left corner of the Wii U GamePad controller while setting up your defenses, then scan a Fox or Falco amiibo™ figure. Once the team's set, you can call in the cavalry by tapping the Arwing symbol during the mission.
